I love the half off red tag sales. That is when I try to get home deco fabrics. I bought 15 yards..was $35/yd sale $6...got for $3 and then another 10% off with my Joanns card. Going to recover the pillows on my porch furniture. I am not going to do the zipper and cording though. I want to be able to take them off and wash them easily...so I think sort of a pillowcase with velcro closing.

I also buy the 100% cotton home deco fabrics to make tablecloths...they say dry clean only...but I wash them and they dont even need ironed! I have tables that take 120 inch table cloths and sometimes I can make them for $4 or $5. Could get enough for matching napkins too, if you wanted them.

I got the 100% cotton sateen material I was looking at the other day. I think there will be enough for both quilts.
And a couple of other things that were 50% off. I am a happy camper. lol

I also, got some Kona cotton for a quilt top I am working on now.

I was there yesterday. I had 28 yards of fabric follow me home. I saved $80.00 according to the receipt. My DH does not see it that way. It's all about the outlook you have on life.

I really envy all of you ladies it's a shame Joann's doesn't ship international i wanted a June Taylor cutting mat which was much much cheaper than i have found so far and all the fabric so cheap it's really a quilter's dream. Happy shopping to all and think of this little Aussie that can only read about your shopping spree in Joann's. Good day to all :) :)

Our JoAnn's has a terrible selection in their red-tag section. I have never bought any of it in all these years. It does appear that we here on the West coast don't always have the same sales as JoAnn's on the Eastern coast.
