    I think glue stick would work better than the liquid glue. It sticks immediately and the liquid glue might leave a stain. Glad to hear you have a practice piece to try it out on, please post pictures when done, it sounds beautiful.

    505 Spray (temporary) baste or maybe a dab of Elmers Washable School Glue. Just make sure it's washable.
