Scared and sad- my Janome 7700 died!
#25
Wow, I'm sorry that happened to you. I have the 7700 too. I have it plugged into an extension cord that plugs into the surge supressor. One day I went downstairs to sew, turned the machine on and it wouldn't go on. I went over to the extension cord, unplugged it and plugged it into another slot in the cord. It worked, I figured the extension cord must have had a bad connection, it was one of those double sided ones. I was relieved, because weird stuff like that happens to me all the time. So far so good. They should definitely replace your machine.

Hi, I used to work at a Brother dealership in MN and once in a while a machine would have a bad computer board. If it is still under warranty you should be able to have the board replaced,or the whole machine. Just remember each machine will run a little bit different than the other.
