Wow! Your work is beautiful. I did not know that there could be so much beauty and value in a pile of scraps. Thanks everyone for making me aware of this fact.

Let me know what you think.
A few years back I was addicted for a while to making my own "crumb fabric" and used it to make table mats. They were for presents and everyone loved them Now for some time I've been giving my crumbs away to another lady who has got addicted to them That's what my table mat looked like

Love the projects and you-tube. I've got a big bag of scraps/crumbs. Think I'll start sewing them together

Kelsie,

Locker Hooking is a little had to explain. Check it out here: https://www.pinterest.com/explore/locker-hooking/

It is lots of fun and easy to work on while watching TV, or relaxing. It is done using a form of canvas, a locker hook, and 1" strips.

Oh, those table mats are lovely, so cheerful. I especially like the way the Black makes the other colors sing.

Aurora: Those are wonderful. I watched one being made with roses and a sunflower. I don't want to hijack this thread. Would you like to PM me so we could 'talk' a bit more about it? Thanks, Kelsie

Hello, there are different patterns for the little bags I found in the WWW! They close either with zipper or with KamSnaps! I love these snap fastener, they are availabel in many colors and they are very quick attached!
I use velcro for bags for tablets or smartphones because snaps are not so suitable because of the sensitive surfaces!
And thanks for your nice comment!

Here I use zippers!

These bags are closed with KamSnaps!

Here a little look how to sew: first I sew the zipper on both parts and then I sew the pieces together!
