Wendy, I would never be offended to receive a gift from a smoker. I was a smoker for many years plus I live with a smoker. Please don't drop out. I would not have a problem if you or any smoker were my "Secret Santa". Cheryl

I don't want to put anyone out in the baking department just for me to have "special cookies" but candies are ok
OH Yes, I am having to learn how to "decontaminate" the kitchen while at the same time cooking with gluten products. My dd has Celiac Disease and is very allergic to Soy so it's not too hard for us just that now we have to be gluten free all the time instead of 3x's a year.
I, like Terri, will take $$$ in place of food It's calorie free, gluten free and guilt free

English Toffee is gluten free.

I too am gluten free, but everyone else in my house eats it.

I always make some GF treats for me to eat during the holidays. Fudge, truffles yum yum.

The fudge I make is GF too, but the kids eat it as fast as it sets. I hope I never have to cut out chocolate and nuts.

This swap will be lots of fun.

If it is a secret Santa what do we put in the return address? Just the address and no name? I hope this doesn't sound too stupid since this is my first time. I cannot wait. I already have the goodies ready!

Tashana, around here the PO will not let you get away with NOT putting an address on your pkg. BUT last yr I put Secret Santa as my name and then my address and that was acceptable. Nobody will be able to tell who you are based solely on your address so you're good!

I just HAVE to tell a little story about last year's Secret Santa package, and the post office. My area I live in here is a small community that everyone calls a "Village". My mail carrier rings the doorbell one Saturday morning....I saw her car in the driveway and thought it was strange that she was ringing the doorbell, she just usually leaves the packages on my little table by the door. So I answer the door and she is standing there with a big grin on her face and the package in her hands, saying, "You have a package from Secret Santa!!!!" I just started laughing and had to tell her what we were doing. Well, a few days later I go to the post office to mail a package, and the postmistress says, "I heard you got a package from Secret Santa!!! What did you get?" So I have to tell the story all over again.. Then a few days before Christmas, I took them all a BIG tray of cookies to share, and she wanted to know what was in my Secret Santa package. The postmistress is also a quilter, so she says she lives vicariously through me.

Anyway, the postmistress says, just putting SECRET SANTA and your address is fine. But you HAVE to put your full address.
