I have a PR600II was doing qayg. Finger got caught in the needle, only sewed one stitch throught my finger. Thought I got out all of the needle--not. Took a week, but it worked it's way out. Be careful of infection.

Emergecny room cost big bucks with my insurance, tomorrow I am going to my doc for a tetanus shot and pain pills. it is a thumping. I did not bleed on the strip though, typing is hard. I went back and finished the strips, cannot iron. Did anyone ever do this? any infection? how long to heal??

I sewed my left index finger with the longarm while trying to sew the seam across the top so everything would be nice and straight....'bout the only thing that ended up "straight" was me...man, that hurt! But it healed nicely and without problems so I'm counting it as a lesson learned...hope you do as well as I did... :?

Glad you went then. That needle can sure cause that infection to be pretty bad and if it is in the bone, guess where you will be for a long while. Be sure to follow as the doctor says, happy specialist tomorrow. They will fix you up nice and happy like so you can sit down and sew again.

Oh ya, I sure have sewn mysself into the fabric. Fortunately the needle went thru tissu and did not hit bone. Big owie. Keep above your heart to ease thumping(a new one to me) I'll use it when I immunize the kids at work.(Family Practice nurse). Keep clean dry and covered. Big hug for your pain to ease(((((((((((((((:)))))))))))))))))00

Yup..me too. And always the first reaction is to jerk your hand free..thus ripping the skin, nail and all. Never bad enough to go to doc, I can not imagine breaking the needle off and being able to look at it, let alone have someone pull it out. Good luck tomorrow.
