If I was able, healthwse, flower gardening would be my next favorite after sewing and quilting. During the winter, reading is my favorite hapbby, especially when it is a story about quilting. For you, who, do love to read, let us know some of your favorite authors. I will submit some of mine later this week.

If I could do that NOBODY would be allowed to cut into it!
But the inside is better then the outside!!!!!
No way, unless you have a recipe like the lady who did my older DD's wedding cakes. The absolutely best cake I've ever tasted. She had 3, decorated as gifts. One was a cherry cake, one was chocolate and one was coconut. Simply fantastic

One of the last times I took my mother to doctor's before her death from Alzheimer's/kidney failure, I put in a cd of Andy Griffith's gospel music. Mother had not known who I was for over a year and was not able to hold a conversation. But when that music came on, she began singing the songs perfectly, remembering every word. I joined in and we sang our way across Houston's afternoon rush hour. I didn't care how long it took because it was such a blessed time. Six months later I lost both her and my husband within 9 days of each other. But I will always remember that blessed afternoon.
Thank you to you and all the other gospel singers!
What a wonderful memory to have of your mom. Sorry about both deaths.

It's actually quite easy after you learn the trick of snapping the thread into place. But way too repetitive for me

Sorry for so many replies in a row. Had to read all the way thru 20+ pages.

I'm amazed at all the hobbies. I'd have guessed you all would have stayed in the handicraft areas with your hobbies. Glad to see I'm wrong.

And some of you are quite physically active with your hobbies. LOL, mine are mostly sitting hobbies.

Congrats to all of you!
