Shows for inspiration and shops to buy fabric to do the inspiration.

I absolutely agree with Country Treasures in Chester, VT. I spend 4 hours there and hyperventilated when I walked into the front door!

Then you're definitely going to need oxygen if you decide to stop at Keepsake Quilting!

We are here in New Hampshire and I'm preparing for my own shop hop! I'm planning on Keepsake as well as Country Treasures in VT. If there are any other must-sees please let me know! Going to get the quilt shops app as well. Thanks again, all!

If you, by any chance, brought some kind of quilting project along with you, finished or otherwise, September is Show and Tell month at Keepsake (the shop only). You'll get 15% off your total purchase if you bring in a project and tell them about it. http://www.keepsakequilting.com/retail.aspx

Made it down to Keepsake today. Wow. I actually did hyperventilate. It was almost too stimulating! Very nice shop, lovely area. Thanks for the recommendation. Looking forward to Country Treasures, hope to make it down there.

I live a mile from Country Treasures and am glad so many enjoy it as much as I do. It's like family. Also if you head from Chester west on route 11, toward Manchester, when you get to Londonderry VT, about 8 miles away, take a turn on route 100 to see Waterwheel Quilts. It's also excellent. Another great shop in VT is off exit 5, I-91. Only a little bit off the exit - QuiltAway. It's in Westminster. Anyone who will be in VT Sept 14-15, be sure to see the Bennington Quiltfest. It's quite near the Bennington Museum where you can see Jane Stickle's quilt and it makes for a wonderful trip! Also, Woodstock VT has the Billings Farm Museum quilt exhibit, open daily until Sept. 22. We live in quilt nirvana, here! Mdaniels, hope you have a great trip!
