I feel your pain. I promised my DIL I would make 4 burp cloths for her friend who's having twins. I didn't think I would ever finish those. I hadn't used my embroidery machine in a while and had trouble with it. AFter a good 8 hours I finally put them in the mail.

I'm sorry, but it did give me a good laugh. Not because of your mistakes, but because we all have days like this.
When this happens to me, I just call it quitts. No matter how badly you want to quilt, sometimes it's just better to take a break.
Doesn't it always seems to happen, when you have the perfect time to quilt? And on other times when you have the perfect going, there is always an interruption.
