There is nothing weird about you, you just have your own style. Believe me, it is something that a lot of us wish we could do. Maybe someday.

I am with you on this one  I would like to try hand quilting down the road, but it would have to be small. God bless.

I, too, love hand quilting. When I go places that I may not be able to take my machine, I try to make sure that I have something that I can take with me. My hubby was in the hospital during July for open heart surgery and there were times I was glad to have something to work on. So many people looked at the quilt I was working on and told me how pretty it was. It is great to have such a wonderful talent.

Wow, whatever you do keep doing it, the piece you showed was beautiful. If my handstitching looked that good I would do it that way, too.

Beautiful you do a wonderful job. You are quite a artist.
I could never hand quilt every time I hand sew something even put a button I poke myself so much I bleed all over what ever I work on.
I would end up with a white with red spots all over the quilt.
You are very talented. I don't see how you can do all that by hand and such a beautiful job.
All I can say is WOW. kjym Kathy

I love your work... totally awesome...
My question is how do you distribute the weight of the quilt without having to set up a table?

Leota, I am not quite sure what you mean exactly... while quilting? I use a hoop on a stand and the weight of the quilt hangs on the hoop, not on my shoulders.
Is that what you want to know?
