I have used stipes for a pattern by Aardvark Quilts. The pattern was called" Stripes Squared"
I have a pictures posted somewhere. I can check for you if interested.

Geta, I love your tutorial. I love to use stripes and you gave me a lot of new ideas.
I like stipes on the bias for bindings. I use stripes in blocks, cut crooked so they look wonky.

I love stripes and think that stores don't have enough of them! I especially like them as narrow borders.

Shirting fabrics are good sources for stripped materials.The quality is good and the colors are fairly muted,

As others have said, I like stripes for binding, but because I'm "visually - perceptually" handicapped {{{wink}}}, I tend to avoid their use in triangles, etc. because when I think they will be going in one direction, they end up in the other direction. It tickles my brain to keep turning them around to have the stripe going in the proper direction. Bottom line is, No, not too many stripes.

I like to cut them on the bias and use as bindings when the colors coordinate. I also like them for Raggedy Ann legs!!

I don't do stripes. Always worried I will cut them wrong and they will look junky.
