How wonderful! It's so funny how I never understood when my parents refered to me as their "baby" when I was a "grown woman"...LOL! Now....I TOTALLY get it :D

That is so sweet. Our babies will always be our babies.

I remember waking up after an emergency surgery and the first thing I saw was my 6'4" son sound asleep in two chairs at the foot of my bed. I guess I had already been there a night or two, but I don't really remember. I wish he had been wrapped in a quilt, he would have looked more comfortable. But it sure makes you realize you have something to live for.

AWWWW What a nice sight! My kids are all married & they all just love the flannel quilts that I made each of them. They are their favorites to snuggle under while watching TV.

You know I could kick myself for not doing that. It was the perfect moment. HE will be back in two weeks and the future bride is coming in from NY too, so maybe I will get another chance.

My son is also 33 so I know just how you feel. It doesn't matter how old they are. I think it is so sweet that he was all cuddled up in your quilt. You can tell that they are loved.

If they have admired your work and looked at your quilt and made comments, then you know, that they know. My boy always checks to see what I am working on, be it a doll, quilt or decorative art and he sometime critiques it and will suggest a color. On my mask quilt he suggested the white sashings. I have made quilts for some of his friends (boys) and a couple for their children. They went wild and couldn't believe that I made them a quilt and that was great joy to me.

Dominic (son) has always loved the gambling dogs. I found a copy on a large fabric panel and it had the artist signature on it. Walmart carried it and it was good quality. I bought the two panels they had left and the coordinating fabric to back it with. He was over joyed with it. I will find a pic.

I found a pic but it is way too small, but found a pic of my giant Dahlia...
