I will be around any time that you are doing it if you need more help than what has been shown as well.

I wouldn't do the second and the last one is a bit busy, the other ones are great.

Depending on the size of quilt that you would like, and the size of repeat, you are looking to have multiples of 6 of the repeats,

if it has a 24" repeat (2 feet) for 6 repeats you need 12 feet equals 4 yards, so if you need more you are looking to buy the fabric in multiples of that, so the next break would be 8 yards, of course with the different sizes of the repeats and what you are doing will depend on how much you will actually need.

Hi April - I think #1 has too much plain background and the teddies are two small and far spaced. Not sure about the cowboy boots but the last two would be fabulous! If i had to pick one, I'd go for the tigers. :-D

I think that the last one would work well but it might be much for a first, maybe save that one for your second, I disagree with the first, I think that if you cut it right that it would work well,

LovingIzabella, I love the first choice, the tigers and the frog print!!

If it were me I would do one in all three! Love them.

Okay I have to ask on a couple more.
The rain boots immediately made me think of my daughter and her green wellies!
Sorry to be a pain with this-I just want to make sure it is the best choice

I like all three of them, though the boots will mostly be black, won't work up like the other ones,

this is what some of your pieces would look like, depending on how big you cut them.

I think that pieces on the last one are a bit to different in size, you would want one of the pieces or so per block and I think that they will all end up looking to similar, a bigger a print the better,

I right click on the picture, the box should have a few options including copy picture, so I copy it and paste it in paint and use their tools to do a little drawing,

Ok I have been watching t his topic and I am SO confused at how to even pick a fabric :? How big should the print be? and I am still wondering how to find the repeats, would the shop people know how to help with this??

I was looking at all the new fabrics that have been put on clearance and was trying to choose from there but I need to be sure about how much to get. I would want it for my queen size bed.

Thanx for any help since you have already answered this stuff before
