I don't like Yellow Brick Road. Never have been able to see a pattern in it. Used to not like batiks but I found the cure! Not sure I like crumb quilts but I will be making some blocks to use up crumbs. Love scrappy quilts in a pattern. Don't like orphan block quilts!

This was an interesting thread, amazing how we differ in taste. I'm not crazy about yo-yo's or hearts but love scrappy.

Go ahead and post pics, there is always someone who will love what you make. Those that don't care for that particular style will just move on!

I can't think of anything that I dislike, like them all.

:)
Yes post pic of your work! Some of us will love it, some maybe won't care for it but as stated members usually just pass on what they don't care for. There are over 33 Thousand members.
I can't think of a particular block or pattern I don't like, sometimes I see a quilt I am not moved by or don't care for but I don't have any one in particular.

I think the inspiration behind YBR is there isn't a pattern to it-it is designed to not have a pattern.

I haven't read everyone's posts but thought I'd put in my 2 cents worth. I don't like wonky. Isn't it great that we all can come to this board with all our different likes & dislikes. (I don't like bow tucks either.)If I'm not interested I'll skip a topic.:) Too many topics to keep up with anyway.

I don't care too much about crazy quilts if they have a lot beads etc on them...love everything else!

Me too, me too!

I strongly dislike most of the fabrics that go for lots of money these days--things like Amy Butler. They all look like they came out of the 60's and 70's to me--and I still remember the 70's, so why do I want to go back there? I really don't like these fabrics!
I'm with you - I like all styles of quilting but not all styles of material.I find I can leave the Moda and Butler styles alone.
