Thought I lost a block. Please tell me I'm not the only one who has done this

My brain likes to play little games like that with me. I personally do not think it is very funny, but my guild members sure get a chuckle out of it. It never seems to happen in the privacy of my own home, but always at guild.

LOL. I have you beat! I thought I lost a whole 1/3 of a twin size quilt top. Turns out I THOUGHT I had sewed it together but had only made the blocks that far. I had set it aside for a while and didn't remember.
I got out all my fabric and cut more blocks to start over. When I saw the amount of fabric I had left I realized I had not lost the other. I thought I was going to have to use what I had and the rest of what I had cut out and put a very wide border around it to finish.
This was a little larger than twin royal blue/white bears paw and flying geese pattern that I made for my grandson. I posted pics online quite a bit back - I think in January/Feb.
