The issue is that we all come to relax on this board. We all have great stress in our lives so this is our refuge. You have ruffled our non-computer literate minds. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL COMPLAINING>
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR RRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

In the past half hour under the digest, I have opened at least 3 or 4 topics that say invalid thread, contact the administrator. I would wonder if this is aimed at removing negative remarks since it seems that all of the topics led me to believe that it could be goinging that direction MMMMMM?

We'll all get through the change in time and probably like it more in the end. Hang in there Patrice I know all the negative comments couldn't have been easy to take when you know how hard the developers were working. Happier days will be here again soon!

Thank you Patrice
Thank you for your thoughtful comments. I have noticed that the background is softer and easier to view. I wonder if it might help for you to post a short and simple explanation of why the new owners wanted to make a change (Maybe not) and how they are achieving that goal. I am just interested.
The old board was warm and cozy like a quilt is and it reflected the personality of quilters. I guess it is "normal" to compare old to new. I am liking many of the changes, getting used to the new things and glad to see that the other threads are starting to pop up on the daily newsletter.

I want to say I did complain, but sometimes it is something we have to say and get it out of our system. I am trying to get to learn the ropes here and am starting to get comfortable. Still a lot to learn. I still don't know where to go to see a reply to any comments I make but in time.

I'm so loving this board! I have spent the past two days playing with different features.
Today I discovered that I could go into settings, then general setting area, and select no signature/ hide signatures. Now all those long signatures which are a lot of times longer than posts are no longer in my view.
Thank you Thank you Thank you.

I have a suggestion. I think it would be helpful to put a link that says "Help" on the main menu & put the FAQ THERE for the the time being until the full help info is available. I have the FAQ bookmarked otherwise I'd never find it again. I've clicked all the menu items & don't see it. I think it needs to be a main button & not buried in a menu tree somewhere or lost in a message that many people may not see. Just sayin'.

Thanks for all of the hard work that went into updating our Quilting Board. I like the changes and after a bit of poking around and trying out this and that, it has become easier for me to navigate. I like the pink and blue envelopes. My favorite is the What's New. I am enjoying the posts, pictures and feedback. I have learned so much from other quilters by reading these. I love the tutorials and thank those who take the time and trouble to post those.
