I don't mind the new changes except I have some questions and on how to do some things and I am not sure where to go to get the answers. I tried the Live Chat and I've tried reading the posts that have complaints but I am not finding answers. Is there a go place or person to ask?

Patrice, I am hanging in here with you, as I really appreciate your efforts to keep this a pleasant place to visit. I do have a hard time seeing some of the posts and wish I could use "bold" on the general posts of other people.... (I am older hand have visual problems) . I did love the ease of getting around on the old site, and I am sure eventually will learn this one. Thank you again for all you do, for your patience, and tolerance of those in the group who are a bit "outspoken" and a bit unkind. I urge everyone to be patient, and then, if it isn't your cup of tea, move on. I am staying and hope to be part of this group that has become my extended family of friends. God bless you.....

No complaints here just trying to find my way around, Iam confused however as to why my posts are now DEDUCTING in number instead of adding. 4 days ago I was over 1050, then it jumped down to 1048, and stayed there through about 6 posts, now I just posted on another thread and it said 1047! Whats happening here am I a vanishing poster?

As for white...I guess most forums and news sites I read have white as the background. That complaint I don't understand at all!
The stark white background was harder on the eyes of some of our "more mature" members. It does cause eye strain if they sit and read the board for a longer time. I am aware that they have adjusted the BRIGHT white and I am sure that others are grateful for the change.

Hi Patrice.....must admit at first it was a bit confusing but I am finding my way around.....still find photos and a few others things are slow to come up, but i`m sure i`ll get used to that too....you did an amazing job throughout all the complaining...lol the only thing that bothers me is the color of the writting, it is hard on the eyes...tried adjusting from my end but couldn`t be done...isn`t there a way a making it a bit darker? Anyways....good job and i`m sure things will settle down and people will just go back to enjoying the site with all the wonderfull people and great information on here!

I'm learning my way around the new board and getting used to it slowly but surely. I didn't want to leave this board because there are so many nice people here. I'd also like to say a big "Thank you" now for all the work you do here Patrice. )

I admit I was caught off guard the first time I saw the new and improved changes. The white screen was very stark, the font too small, and I had a little trouble finding my way around too. But I'm finding that it really isn't that much different from the old site, if you just give it a chance. The one thing I do miss was a feature in bookmarks. Bookmarks are saved with under the topic name used by the person who posted it. Sometimes these names didn't clearly describe what was being posted. We used to have a box where we could enter our own description to better identify the post for ourselves. That seems to be gone, making it harder to find what I'm looking for in my bookmarks. If there is a way to bring that back it would be great! Keep up the good work. It is appreciated!!!

Patrice:

Its change and we as humans do not like change-but you know what it is what it is and people need to give it a chance .. I was upset I couldn't remember my screen name and password-but I figured it out and I am here to give you support and say: Its AWESOME!! and we will all figure it out just like I did and move forward !
THANK YOU for what you and the designers have done to the look !! Keep moving forward !!!
