Hi, I am trying to do the tissue paper to put my quilt pattern on but would like to know what you use to attach it to the quilt to quilt it. I know I have read it somewhere but can't remember where. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks alot Peggy

Hi Peggy from another Peggie,

I use Floriani wet n gone fusible stabilizer. It is used for machine embroidery but works great for tracing quilting patterns. It sheer enought to trace through, then lightly iron it in place, stays put, no shifting like with tissue paper. When you're all finished, it rinses away.

I purchase it at http://www.ericas.com/embdesigns/sta...s_floriani.htm
a 12" by 12ft roll is $32. Hope this helps

I use painters tape, comes off easily without leaving a residue.

I also use painters tape for the same reasons. Hubby seems to think it's all his, though and whines when he finds my roll in my sewing room. Every time, I explain that it is my roll, I bought it for quilting. I need to buy a different color than the original blue so he'll quit asking.

I put a roll in my quilting bag as often we have needed that tape for something when I am out sewing with groups. I know where to find it now. I am thining of trying it now on the tissue paper motif quilting.
