Makes me think of a little church we went into in Santa Rosa, Mexico some years ago. The stained glass was similar. Also the tiles manufactured on Catalina

If you took out the four blocks in the center so you left the cross it would take away the stripes in opposite directions that are side by side.
I'd replace them with on block of the circle stars that are in the corners, facing out from the middle.
Or, you could replace the striped fabric with something less busy, or just non-directional.

I liked the center cross but think it would look better in a solid. I thought the suare around wi was too busy and drowned out the soft colors in the backgroun., clean that up and try it that way. It looks Art Deco to me.

I still don't like the perimeter of the square. The colors are too much. I liked the cross better with a simplar square.

I have liked all your designs...but the last is really good. Please let us know what you decide, this has been really interesting seeing your design evolve.

I love it, including the design down the middle. Very colorful.

Maybe those triangles could have some interesting quilting pattern on them?
