I love all of it except the middle. Way to busy for me.

I like it, but don't think the colors on the center design is cohesive with the bright blue color. Not much is too busy for me, though!

I also like this version better. My eyes did not find it quite as offensive. The colors also seem to blend better.

I'll be glad when all this has been decided. My niece told me she wanted a dark purple, then she emailed me this dusty lavendar color, so I searched in my EQ and found the closest to it. - 'changed the colors - and now HERE is the final..............maybe..................I'm running out of time here!..................

I might put a full circle like the corners in the center. I like all of it, but the center looks like a different quilt.

Are those the colors you plan to use? The design is strong and reminds me a little of Frank Lloyd Wright designs from the early 1900's. You could soften the effect of the central motif with lighter colors, but I think the rest of the design is bold enough to carry it with some color tweaks. The blue (peacock) and gold are high contrast and seem to be overpowering the lavendars, and the colors that appear as dark brown don't add a lot to the design. That is a very ambitious design, how long do you have to get it done?:-)

I think you've done an amazing job coming up with something so creative. That's what piecing and quilting is all about. I'm anxious to see the colors that you choose to bring this design to life. I bet your niece will cherish this work of art for decades to come.

Thanks for sharing and "including" us on your process. Have fun shopping!!!!

It took a long time to download and I was leery after reading some of the comments, but I love it. The fabrics would need to be low key so nothing detracts from the design. I think it's fantastic.

Well, 'just talked to my niece and she likes the darker purple.....{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{SCREAM}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}} } Oh well - I wanted to have it done by December - I am NOT the most prompt of sewers...............'was wondering if I should increase the block size to 10 or 12 inches now.......
