There is no such thing as too many quilts! I have a 8 bedroom Inn and each room as at least 2 - 1 on the bed and another on a chair. And, they change seasonally!!!

Is this too much? I know people that do ceramics and have figurines all over the place. A relative said, my house looks to quilty! I just said, I love my quilts and like to look at them. Just curious what others think.
What your relative said was just plain rude! It smacks of the ugly head of jealousy.
I agree! The relative either suffers from quilt envy and shared it in an inappropriate way, or else the relative is a quilt hater who doesn't appreciate the beauty, skill and creativity displayed through your quilts. If the relative has quilt envy, there is still hope that they love the beauty and comfort your quilts create. If the relative is a quilt hater, then he or she doesn't "get" it, and likely never will.

Shoot! I wouldn't even bother explaining myself. Do what makes you happy. As long as you are not hurting anyone, why should anyone care what you have in your home? Do you tell her what to do in her home? (My guess is no!)

If you are happy with what is around your house, you can never have too many. I am very fortunate as i have 2 daughters who paint. I have their paintings all over the house and DISPLAYED as i am very proud of them and lovely everyone one, even those will a little "flaw". I feel the same with my quilts.

This is your passion and you should celebrate the fact that you have this gift.I too have quilts all over and one day a very old lady came to my house and I apologized for the quilts and she said you are blessed to have this gift of quilting every one does not have a hobby that gives them so much pleasure and others too so just enjoy.
