Two in one day (sigh) - price increases that is.

Agree!! I give thanks that all of our needs are met. Maybe not all of our wants but we too are retired and do not go too far or too often. My heart hurts for the young ones trying to make ends meet. My husband was laid off for a year and then took retirement. Better him laid off than a younger man.
Just have to learn to do with less.

Well if you are upset over the increase in price of fabric----wait until you see what is going to happen to food. Son-in-law who works in the food industry has warned us that prices will go thru the roof---esp seafood and fish or anything that uses corn. I found that salmon has risen at Costco to 8.99 a lb. I left it in the store. Sometimes you just have to stand your ground about things.

I hate to hear of anyone losing their job and businesses closing locations. Sad for us to pay more, but much sadder for them to lose their income.
