great idea! I too have a BL. just thinking, one could also use "vet wrap". this is that tape that sticks to itself. it is slightly sticky like drawer liner just thinner. trainers use it to wrap joints or now alot of nurses use it on your arm after a blood draw. and yes they use it to wrap horse ankles.
