I think it is a sweet quilt! Complex is not always necessary. I think it is perfect!!

I did accept graciously. I am keeping the money for my trip to Texas in March. Thank you all for your kind words.

The lady bugs are actually one of the designs that came on my machine. It is a Babylock that I bought 7 or 8 years ago. I have used that pattern several times - one time in brown and pink to match the baby items for Babies R Us.

The back was cute. It was cartoony type bugs. They were all cheerful including the happy, blue spider.

I know I don't value my own work enough. I am not the artist some people are. They almost always fall short of my plan. This one was cute, though.

Happy Stitchin'!

I think it looks great and obviously he appreciated your efforts and wanted to pay for them. You should be on cloud nine, not questioning it.

How nice for someone to really value your work. He could have picked up one made in China for a lot less but it would not have been especially for his grandchild. Maybe your luck will get better and he will send other customers your way who are as appreciative. You did a beautiful job.
