Vacation Fabric Purchases... 9 new projects

While on Vacation here in Delaware I have purchased 9 new projects. Some will be Christmas gifts others will be just because.

I had fun shoping in 4 shops all over the state. (Delaware is only 90 miles north and south)

I have met the nicest people and they were very helpful and I look forward to the next trip.

Looks like you did have a great time shopping. When we vacation in New Hampshire I always make a stop in Keepsake Quilting shop. It sure is hard to leave it.

Nice selection! In April, I spent 3 days in Dover, DE @ Bonnie Hunter workshops. Only got to stop @ one shop as our days were pretty full. Since then, the joke has been that I'm retiring to DE, as I loved it so much. Beautiful state, nice people, no sales tax. Yeah, retiring there is a "joke."...

I used to love DE, it's where I had grown up but anymore, it's too crowded.

Nothing is better that vacations that quilt shops are included. I love seeing new shops and finding things that will be a memory of a great vacation! Have fun with your purchases!

I love getting new fabric, not much of an inventory area so I pretty much plan one project at a time. Love your selection.

I love the Dick and Jane fabric, it brings back a lot of learning to read memories. I made a quilt for my youngest grandson from the original Dick and Jane fabric . It is always fun to shop in a different state and see what they have that your own state does not carry. I find that even my lqs carry different fabric and are not all that far apart.

Looks like you had a great time! We were visiting daughter while she was in Madison,WI (at the Epic training center) so I went to Mill House Quilts, loved it so many samples very friendly and the Stitchers Crossing which had great selection, many samples and very friendly salesperson. I always look up quilt shops on my travels. next I want to travel to Missouri Star shop! Road trip! keep busy with your new projects and you can remember your travels while you see.
