Dedemac, those are some great colors in that quilt. And, I love the layout. What is your border fabric going to be?

Trisher, those are some great doll clothes. Some lucky little girl is going to love them.

I got all my 9.5 inch blocks bordered today on my Churn quilt. I only need 3 more 12.5 inch blocks to complete the top. Something to work on tomorrow. Then, I just need to tweek the layout a little bit and sew the top together.

No quilting for me this weekend - I'm making 25 neck rice bags. I am using that slight ZZ for the fleece covers, not on the quilting fabric interior bags.

Wow, you've all accomplished a lot today! I quilted with some friends at a local quilt shop. We had a potluck luncheon so am full from that! I finished piecing the two tops I was working on yesterday. And started catching up on the block of the month blocks. After church tomorrow, I'll get back in the studio. I'm not sure if I'll work on BOM or quilt the two quilts that are sandwiched.

Well, I didn't see this thread until just now (Saturday night), but it has been a sewing day for me.
I'm on both the UFO Challenge and the Fabric Moratorium Challenge threads, so my focus has been very much on (1) Finish UFO's and (2) No New Fabric!!

Focusing on #1 keeps me in line with #2... plus I have stayed away from the computer somewhat, so that means I haven't been allowing myself to see all the fabric sales in my email inbox.

In the spirit of "two birds with one stone"... or really "UFO work can do double duty for the Virtual Quilting Weekend", here's the extremely old UFO I'm endeavoring to finish by the end of the year...

No sewing today, but I made progress on cutting out several projects. I cut out 2 BOM barn blocks, Finished cutting out 1st 3 steps of BHMQ. and lastly I cut the binding for my Pink UFO throw. I also planned a small child's quilt, About 36" square. It shouldn't take long to put together. Tomorrow I'll get up early and sew all day.

I enjoy seeing everyone's projects and the great progress you all are making.
