Okay, a couple of pics of my current WIP's. First is a table runner I am nearly done hand quilting. The blue lines are my markings, they will wash out
. The second one is my purple herringbone top I need to mark and baste for hand quilting. I used 90 of the purple charms I recently received in a swap. I normally finish one project before starting another, but had to order batting for this one and made the table runner while waiting for the batting to arrive.

Great donation quilt, D.Henson. It looks so fluffy and cuddly. I love how poly batting does that.
Faintly, you made great use of your purple swap charms. Love that autumn table runner.
My iron died tonight so I had to stop sewing. Ten dollar iron lasted all of 8 months. I buy the cheapo ones because I don't like auto shutoff. So I'll be off to find a new one right after church tomorrow.

I forgot to check back in last night! Love seeing what everyone was working on yesterday
. I attached a picture of my Linda Schmidt Miniature Landscape. I'm hoping to work on that more this afternoon. Yesterday I finished the blocks for a quilt, would like to get the top assembled today as well. For some reason, the upload of that picture keeps failing. I promise to check back in after church and lunch!

Another month has passed and here is what I am working on this weekend. Planning and quilting a table runner for
Carolines' Table Runner Swap. A fall theme this time. This is a Bonnie Hunter block called Hot Crossed Buns.

Love what everyone is working on.

Have a table runner to finish hand quilting and a top to mark for quilting. But, I also have a job interview early next week that I need to prepare for. I haven't worked outside the home in 25 years, so am a little nervous! It's an office assistant job at my hubby's workplace. I haven't interviewed for a job in 28 years!

I got quite a bit of quilting done yesterday but unfortunately I spilled a glass of water and some of the quilt got wet. The stitching lines dissolved in one corner and I am going to have to figure out a way to repair that. It would have to spill on an area that I hadn't already quilted. I hope everyone else is enjoying their quilting weekend.
