Amazing quilting going on today, everyone!
This morning I was trimming the bushes and doing yard work, so no quilting done then. But this afternoon has been better. My DH and I got the balance wheel off my 1950's Singer 15-91 (finally! It's been a drama!) so that's one more step forward to making that my FMQ machine--- so exciting!! After that I did more of my RxR wall hanging. It's not done of course, but here it is. It's from Holton, KS. I didn't buy the kit, but used my own collection of ginghams for it.

Thanks everyone for your 'show-n-tell' projects. I love seeing them.
I went out of town on Thursday afternoon and returned this afternoon. One of my great nephews showed his calf at a county fair on Thursday night and a great niece (his cousin) was in a local Little Miss pageant on Friday evening.
I did get to visit 5 quilt shops in the central MN region of the shop hop on Friday and I finished the section today by stopping at the other 4. So, I had quilting on my mind and bought more than I planned but I supported those quilt shops.
I hope to work on my Amy Gibson block later tomorrow.

What a variety of stunning work! You guys are so busy and doing so well on everything. I'm being a total slug this afternoon--the quilt guild annual "garage" sale of everything sewing was very successful despite a totally raining day (made close to $800! plus had enough donations of fabrics good for our community service project next week of making "dinner scarves" for the nursing homes and fidget lap quilts for same). but once I got home I sat down and promptly fell asleep! Hope that tomorrow after church I get the Pony Express BOM sample finished on the LA.

I had a chance this morning to sew a couple of hexie flowers together for the second row of my GFG quilt and I also took some time this afternoon to baste some more hexies to use.

This is what the first row looks like.
