Everyone's projects look so lovely.
Zozee-your baby items are adorable.
NZquilter-your cookies look so yummy and love your Attic Window panel. Very nice gifts you have made too.
The quilted Cottage-very pretty table topper and your table runner is so beautiful. Love your green fabrics. I think you need to fill those plates with cookies for Santa.
Thank you all for sharing pictures of your beautiful work.

Thimblebug, I love your Quilted Hug project, it would be perfect for my 99 yr old MIL. Is there a pattern for it?
I’m also in for VQW on New Year’s Day. : )
I'm not sure if I can post a link to it, but if you google the Quilted Hug project there is a you tube video which I have to keep referring to, plus there is a basic printout called Quilted Shawl Instructions. HTH

Friday all day off and on I worked on a 20 year old Row by Row. The blocks are all 3D and were blue on WOW. I can't tell you how many times I've taken them out these last years to look at them and just put them all away. They just didn't look right all lined up like that. I couldn't see my way through to making them into a center medallion, nothing was working for me. Fast forward, two years ago we went to Alaska and I found panel fabric from Kaufman with all the critters we'd seen on our cruise... well the water ones anyway. Somehow they just needed to be pieced together and the quilt flew to completion on Friday. I still can't believe it's done.

Went a little overboard yesterday. I couldn't sleep so I started at 2am. Needed to do a lone star as practice for a commission quilt and I needed a mug rug for the swap so I made that one up.

I had the wall hanging going for that swap and worked on it, alternating the two.
Somehow I managed to get both of the pieces quilted and bound, they are finished. Hey they may be small, but that word! Done! It's like,,, heavenly.

Between them both I was dyeing up 15 yards of fabric. It's sat over night and now needs to be rinsed, washed, ironed,,, you know the drill.

So then I pulled out the box of blocks, it's a 30 gallon tote,,, completely packed, ok so there's a bit of stuff there. LOL they are all from past swapping and collecting and I don't know what all. Found a Merry Mayhem mystery quilt that I'd put away a good 15 years ago. All the blocks are sewn and I'm a day away from a top. It's a snowball 2 ribbon quilt and I just do not like the colors. Well! Guess what I'm going to do? Yup! I'm going to throw some paint at my snowballs and they will become paint balls! Hahaa! I can't wait to get creative with it so that's where you'll find me today.

I hope ya'll are enjoying your sewing time. I might pull out my Featherweight... the modern machines leave a lot to be desired in the longevity department. Both my Phaff and my Elna, their feed dogs wont stay up which is causing no end of trouble. Once they drop it's almost impossible to get them back up. The buttons can't seem to be fixed either as they have been to several different people for repairing over the years. I hate to say it but my Phaff's been in the barn with the spiders and mice for about 2 decades now. Very said state of affairs. I must be missing it. Now with the Elna screaming (just came from the shop) and sticking again already... loosing the feed dogs was the last straw. Good ole Singer to the rescue. Have a fantastic day. peeps.

Lovely stuff WendyMcD!

I got my Bonnie Hunter clue done yesterday. Normally Sunday morning I go on a bowling date with the hubby and then we go to a couple of thrift stores. I've been fighting off the cold the hubby has all week but if finally caught me yesterday.

Going to stay home today and deal with sniffles and stuffy head and slowly work on that border for the Cherry Goose top.

Here's the 2 inch squares for my OMG quilt. I recalculated and realized I only needed 1600 ( not 3200) but then these will be cut diagonally and added to the corners of 800 tiny 4 patches. This quilt will have somewhere in the vicinity of 18,000 pieces when complete.

Got a kit made last night. Went to dinner with dh. One of my fave restraunts will close in Jan as owners will visit family in Mexico. Then made another kit.
A few more kits and the LA table will get cleaned off. Then time for LA bundles top/bottom/binding.

Irishrose, I hope you are recovering nicely and quickly. Take care.

Quilting vagabond I bought the pattern for OMG. I am thinking of using 30’s fabrics and really good unbleached muslin.

Macy baby I hope your move goes smoothly. You made me really think before I start OMG. I do get a bit bored with so many little pieces and repetition. I recently finished Pam Buda’s “Circa1880”. It wasn’t hard but it was intense.

I am sure I will be sewing on New Year’s Day when I am all alone again. Reggiemom thanks so much for hosting.❤️
What is an OMG Quilt, please? And where to locate the pattern? Thank you.

I was able to get all my fabric cut today for the four blocks needed for my table runner. I was also able to put one of the blocks together. So glad I was able to play at the machine today. Merry Christmas everyone.
