Oh Watson, the horse is stunning, please keep sharing pic updates.

Adorable stockings, quiltingshorttimer!

I like that center better too, Macybaby, and really like thsoe colors.

I decided to add an oven mitt to go with the apron, the pieces are quilted and cut out, just debating on the lining before finishing.

Ditto what Raggiemom said, I love all the pics of project progress - Homefrontgirl, that is such a pretty top! And giquilt, those blocks are really nice, 5 hours making just one would do me in.

so many pretties! love the purple and teal, MacyBaby! and of course, I've already told Watson I want that horse (she's ignoring me on that though!). let's see more of the Bonnie Hunter quilts that everyone is doing--I decided not to do it this year as too busy--but did find the colors intriguing and would love to see what all of you are doing. No quilting today--nap after church and then I wrapped all presents except ones of DH (he was in room) and a couple for kids on his side of family! Yea! my most disliked Christmas chore DONE--I've now officially done for Christmas other than cooking when everyone gets here. Real glad g-boys will be here Christmas morning--I decided many of their gifts would be from Santa! Like the stuffed animals with pj's

And this Christmas quilt for the older g-boy's bed while he's here--do you see the boo-boo! DH thought it was intentional--so I'm sticking to that story! (actually, that part is not in the picture and it's quilted now too.

Those toys are so cute!

I'm about done for the night - sure wish I didn't have to go to work in the AM- but it's the only way I can afford my quilting hobby!

I got the blocks together and ready for the last four corners. I'm going to make them similar to the corner blocks around the Iris. I've got some border fabric that goes with the black print, so I'll see if that would work for the outside.

Cathy, really love your colors. You are industrious. This plus the 365.
Watson, the horse is fantastic. Love all the Christmas quilts, gifts, stocking and more.
What will we be sewing on in Jan.? See you then.

Had every intention of getting my chemo quilt completely quilted this evening. I'm doing straight line quilting with wavy stitch.

But had only about 9 lines of quilting to go when I started having one irksome thing after another happen.

-machine coming unthreaded a couple times till I did I looked up troubleshooting in my manual
-problem was lint build-up in feed dogs so I gave her a thorough cleaning then tried again
-bobbin ran out
-motivation ran out!

There's always tomorrow unless the Lord returns, in which case my friend won't need the quilt anyway!

I finished my blocks and sewed them together, but am pausing while I figure out the border(s). I just want to move on to the next project, so it might be a really simple border treatment this time!

I finished the corner blocks, put together the backing and cut the binding - so it's all ready to go to the LA - along with all the others out there!

But it's out of the tote - so that is good, another pulled from the PIT (Projects in totes). Maybe by the next VQW it will be quilted.
