So glad the weekend is going to last through today, Monday. I got my 2.5s cut and partially packaged but I need just one more day to finish my plan for this weekend. I did make additional Vortex Quilt blocks and more Border Creek Stashbuster blocks. Successful weekend but room for just a little bit more.

Just noticed my last post I defiantly need to turn off auto suggest on my phone.
Ashley I meant to say, that was a very ambitious project.
DH is on his way to work, so shower for me and start on my flying geese. I only have about 48 left to make and a dozen or more HST then it's assemble the last 3 rows. Finaly the part of the quilt I struggle with, the long borders. I must embrace borders, they are the frame for the quilt.

Yesterday was a bust for me, but that’s is ok. I may try and get some sewing in today in between cleaning and some other chores. I'm hankering to do a major deep cleaning from upstairs to the basement, but that will have to wait till this weekend since my daughter will be down for a few days.

The top for the dining table is done, but now I don't have anything large enough to back it. I miss fabric.com. So, I tidied up my studio and rearranged furniture (which I am constantly considering). All better!
Then I found the one and only quilt kit that I ever created. Everything cut for a OBW! It must be 2 years old. I Love Kits! Will be working on these one block at a time. And will plan another kit!

Yesterday I managed to partially excavate my studio. Found lots of quilt edges with backing, batting and bits of tops that had been cut off to square up after quilting. Spent part of the day taking these apart. Still have some more to do. Hope to get a few more squares of my Sunflower Illusions quilt completed today. Did I mention that it is tedious sewing???? All those curves...What was I thinking???LOL

Rff1010 congrats on the longarm!
Quiltah Mama - quite the undertaking. I'm impressed.
Sync - love the stars.

Saturday I spent most the day with DH so only got a little done on the quilt. It seems like almost everything that can go wrong has with this quilt but I have learned a lot! This was a good quilt to start the new system with. I finished the quilting and to going to sew the binding on. Here's a picture. This quilt was made a California King with really deep mattress and box springs. It's on a regular king.

Making progress with getting my mystery top together. Here's what was done yesterday ........ planning on heading to my "sewing" area after checking out the threads on the Quilt Board.

My January guild blocks complete, and I have the mystery fabrics cut for My Carolina home. Also sorted a bag of patterns to take to share, most I have made already and was just keeping because I like them 🤪
Out comes the vacuum for a much needed “journey” through the house! Enjoy your stitching everyone, it is not a long weekend here.

Checking in, nice pictures! Seems like a number of us are mixing cleaning with sewing. I have gotten most of the Flying geese done and pressed, only a few left. Also have done 3 loads of laundry and cleaned the bathtub. That is a job I just hate, I think in our forever house that we will be building in a few years only showers. But what if a family gets it next? How do you give a two year old a bath, in the sink? Well next is the kitchen floor and start the pork roast then back to sewing.

FYI has any one else gotten sucked into the time wasting game of Redactle? I love puzzles but this one is addicting, I need to stay with just guessing wordle each day.
