I will be doing some straightening in my sewing room and maybe working on a UFO that's on the design wall this afternoon. Tomorrow is a barn day, but after we get home I may work on finishing up the thread painting on the piece we started in the workshop I took last month. I want to get it finished with borders and binding before the August workshop I'm taking with Danny Amazonas

I'm wanting to sew the binding onto my Blockheads quilt but waiting for a light bulb to arrive in the mail! It's an older Pfaff which I did not find locally. So, more of the 6" blocks. Been working with more Partial Seams. Enjoy everyone!

This may be an issue. I started to press the center of my quilt and my hand is too sore from gardening and outdoor work yesterday. I will go find a quilting glove and see if that helps. I don't like the quilt - the squares are too big, so I really want it done so I can work on something I do like.

Working away on my scrappy project that I keep in the RV. Now that I am home I want to get the blocks all pieced together and decide whether to add a border or not. Will post a picture once it is together. Thanks for another VQW!

I plan to attend an all day quilting class and afterwards, try to quilt 2-3 ufo quilt tops over the weekend. And bind 2 ufo baby quilts. I’m working on my Christmas gifts early.
Today I canned 4 quarts of peach pie filling. Two days ago I canned 8 pints of peach pie filling and 7 pints peaches. Large California peaches made their way to the mid-US.

Wow--everyone has been so busy today! I finished the thirteen blocks I need for Jessica Dayon's Independence Day quilt (weekly project). I am actually ahead as the last three blocks aren't scheduled until next Friday! I started a hunter's star quilt when that was done--it has been cut and just sitting there for almost two years. I hope to maybe finish the top tomorrow. Today I was quilting at a friend's house and tomorrow is our guild sew-in. I'll take a couple other projects with me just in case I'm really quick ( ) or I want to switch projects. Will check back in later.
