I have the die cutter too and that shape. I should try them again soon.
Thanks for updates on your progress and pictures everyone.
I finished my Bonnie Hunter Unity quilt top. I stopped after part 5 and added the borders. It measures 70” by 80” and will be finished by my church group and then donated.
Tomorrow, I will see my grandson in person with social distancing. He’s 3.5 months old and I haven’t seen him In person since 5 weeks old. I’m excited.

I'm in! I made a Baby Milestone mat last night for our grandaughter, who is expected to arrive this week. I also made progress on her quilt. Today I need to make some more masks and then work on the quilt. I have a couple of binding projects that I need to tackle and then we'll see what else tempts me.

It's a way to take a picture of the baby on a pretty background and the age of the baby is designated.

Well, best laid plans. Yesterday I finally decided it was time to replace my 11 year old laptop. Long story short, it took all morning to figure out what I wanted to replace it with and put in the order. Only got a tiny bit of thread painting done on the butterfly. But sure had fun seeing everyone’s progress on their projects!

An amazing thing happened last night. Finished sewing for the day and sat down to the computer. I had an email that my fabric had been delivered to my mailbox at 5:30pm! So I walk back out to the mailbox (rural delivery area) and there it is! I have no idea why they decided to deliver or how it got back to our little local post office from Indianapolis so quickly, but now I can cut the pieces needed for Omigosh today.

It's great to read about everyone's progress! Yesterday I cut out all the pieces I need to make a diaper bag for my daughter. Interfacing, Lining and Main fabric! Today I iron the interfacing on the fabric pieces and then start sewing! Here is a link to the diaper bag I"m making...

I made some progress yesterday. Got binding stiched onto two quilts so just the hand sewing is yet to be done. Made a couple of masks but have a few more to make today. And got more of the baby quilt top done but need to really focus on that today. My goal is to have the top finished by the end of tomorrow. Part of what's left is applique - my least favorite thing to do. But new DGD will be worth it. Back to the studio for me - have a great Sunday, everyone!
