Do you think it's because the Accuquilt cuts them perfectly? I'm noticing on my potholders that the different layer circles all seem to be different sizes!

I struggled with applique the first few times. I am slowly getting more accustomed to it. Stick with it, it can be lots of fun. Looking forward to seeing it.
I'm working on my second-ever applique project, a table runner with spring flowers on it. It's got some unusually skinny (think zero width pinch points in the middle), long pieces for the foliage to it, and giving me a bit of fits, but I'm pushing through. 5 of 8 blocks' through the fusing stage, 2 more blocks of fusible shapes cut.

tranum, thank you for the larger needle suggestion. I put in a size 16 jeans needle and it went much smoother. I was able to finish all 8 sets of potholders. Tomorrow I will hopefully get the matching kitchen scarf and hot fingers pads done as well. Tonight I will get them prepped. I thought I had everything ready but realized I cut the pocket fabric for the hot fingers too small. So I get to recut! I hope all of you have had successful days.

Loving the progress reports.
I didn’t sew today but I did start putting away the fabric I used for the Unity quilt.
I also got to spend some social distancing time with my son, DIL, and 3.5 month old grandson. It was nice to be in the same room with him and hear him babble and giggle.

I got no quilting done today (ok, I did load a friends small baby quilt on the frame tonight)--spent the whole day mowing pasture, hauling off dead branches, etc. we originally were forecast to have rain late today and all day tomorrow, so today was an outside day. Now no rain in forecast but told DH that cleaning our the garage and staining porch rails will not be this weekend--need to sew!
