Macybaby (Cathy), that is going to be a gorgeous quilt. Yes, at this point it does look like confetti. Lots of tiny pieces.

The lampshade is GREAT.

I went to a quilt show and shopped vendors yesterday. Got lots of inspiration. I have several quilts to quilt, but instead I'm piecing a new top! I decided to use some of the batiks I've been hoarding. I have a bunch of 5" squares so I decided to do the Radio Windmill pattern with them. I'm in the cutting phase right now, cutting the edging wedges with old Westerns on TV. What a great day!

I'm loving all the projects being shown this weekend.

I'm working a new quilt top. Found this fabric on sale at Connecting Threads.

Customer quilt done (custom quilted) Fort Mac quilt assembled and ready for quilting. And all my Thanksgiving errands are complete. So hopefully more longarm time tonight and I should be well on my way to finishing my goals for the weekend.

Need a to make a quilt this weekend for Halloween Howl which is a fundraiser for our local dog beach. Have cut most of it, just need to cut the sashing part of the blocks. It is a BQ4 which I have not made before so it will take a little more time. The largest blocks with the focus fabric (dogs, of course) is directional so I have to pay attention.

Started the baby quilt needed for a shower in two weeks have about half the blocks done. Came in for a lunch break then will go start it again. The base top is easy Irish chain but then comes the applique that will take a bit more work.

Love the quilt, Irishgal. You just can't beat pinwheels!

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving to all our very northern friends....

Here are my batik windmill blocks, shaping up. Any excuse to work with pretty batiks will do...

They will "spin" in opposing directions.

Last weekend at retreat I made a crayon baby quilt top, and have managed to get that sandwiched this afternoon. Of course once I finished that I decided to wash that floor as I had the desk etc. moved out of the way already. Here it is but it won't be getting quilted today.
