Congratulations. Now you each have a super machine to work on. Looked at the video and that machine is nifty. That sounds like a great Shop Hop. Did you get a lot of other goodies?

Wow ... how lucky is that! Congrats! Bet you can wait to fire up that new machine. We will need an update as to how you like the new addition.

Well, this is the year we'll always remember. We got the call last week from the shop hop organizer. My wife won the grand prize - a bernina 350. Of course, my wife is over the moon.

A friend joked that my wife will never get to sew on it because i'll always be on it. Naturally i replied, "don't be silly. Berninas are nice, but they're no rocketeer - the greatest sewing machine ever built." (that's printed on the cover of the rocketeer manual.)

Congratulations! Vintage machines are wonderful...I have a couple. I have wanted a Rocketeer but the price is always outside my budget. Winning a Bernina is a treat too. Have a great time sewing together.
