    Well I did it!

Just bought a Husqvarna viking platinum 16 sit down long arm. I'm so excited. Got it for a really good price and it is new.

Enjoy your new machine. I have several friends with different sit downs. They all love them. It's great to have a dedicated quilting machine.

    Congratulations on your purchase.

I wish I had the room for one of those, but I guess it would not make any difference, as I do not know how to use them.

You get training from whoever you buy it from. You can go and "test drive" machines before you buy, to see if that is a way you might like to quilt.

Congrats on the new machine! They had one of those set up at my LQS a while ago and I tried it out and think it would be really fun. I've got an LA on a frame, but still think FMQ on a sit down machine is very fun.

Wonderful! There is nothing quite as exciting as a brand new sewing machine. I hope you have some floppies ready to give that new treasure a good workout.

If I were younger and had room for one I would buy one. Since neither is true I don't even have to think where the money would come from. It ain't happening.

    Enjoy your new machine.
