Well I went and did the deed.........

I ordered my Bailey's Home Quilter 15 Pro approximately 2 minutes ago.

Now, what was the "pull the trigger" moment? I'm still on the fence. I keep dancing around them, trying to decide which machine I want! (right now, the Bailey 13 or a used machine 4 hours away are neck-in-neck). Also, did you buy a new one or floor model?

    Congrats!

I'm sure you will LOVE it! Alot of a learning curve but once you catch on it's great! I've had mine for several years now and still love it. Most errors are operator ones.

    The "pull the trigger"moment was.....
Our tax return showed up in the bank account. We decided several weeks ago to get one when it came in.

Now I can't exactly sneak it in.....My husband made me buy it. I was going to wait till my birthday in November.
Although the cat doesn't know about the purchase, but getting around her is easy, I will bring it in when shes asleep. Which is about 20 hours a day. So I have a rather large time frame there.

You are going to love it. I live near where they are made and went to see them in the shop.
I am waiting to get better and am going to jump in myself. Good luck.

GOOD FOR YOU, we have a bailey's yahoo group where you can find lots of info and answers, just to let you know ahead of time we have ALL wanted to chunk them out the window at times! it just takes patience to get to know the machine and practice to get decent at quilting. congratulations.

    THANKS!!!

I still can't believe I am getting one, I have 2 tops ready for quilting and 1 more will be done tomorrow. And who knows how many more will get created by time the machine arrives.

Yes, keep us all posted on your learning curve, etc. We'd love to hear about it. I know I would at least. How hard was t to set up, how long did it take to put your first quilt on it, etc. ...all those details that seem almost impossible to find on the net.

Great stuff! I got my Nolting MAQ 14" on Monday last having only had to wait a week for it to be shipped to me here in Oman. It is going on my Little Gracie II frame and the Viking Mega Quilter is now my machine of choice for piecing. I have had a short practice and am gasping to get my quilt tops onto the frame and get going! I should probably practice a bit more really but I am impatient to say the least. I have made a 'left overs' top to do first! Good luck with your machine, my friend had a Bailey, loved it and did beautiful work with it and I would have bought one but they weren't prepared to ship it out to me so Nolting got my business. Enjoy!
