The ones that I make are for gifts, except for some of the minis. Those and the antique quilts that come in my door belong to ME...

The miniature quilts are used with my doll displays, and the antique quilts are displayed on quilt rack or two.

Love to collect tiny and old things!

I have kept some for use here at home and of course one for my little dog,but all the others I give away. I usually have someone in mind as I work on a quilt.

i gift them, i donate them to various organizations-programs, fund raisers- i sell them-
they go out the door as fast as i can make them- i'm always behind on special orders and requests...i do think i have 4 or 5 that actually (live here) with no plans on leaving home---yet at least :)
last year i did make my sister a quilt that i fell in love with and really really wanted to keep it- in fact i said to my hubby===i can just make her a different one- i want to keep this one---but he said- yes it is an awesome quilt- but you made it for her- you need to give it to her---if you want one You can make another one...
shucks---i'll probably never get around to making another one like it...
nope i get rid of them ---- fast

I usually make them for someone in mind, but have kept several. I like to have a seasonal quilt out. So when it is football season, the Charger quilt is out, same at Halloween and Christmas.

The ones that I don't give away or make especially for someone, I hang on quilt racks in my house. I have four of them at the moment, but need more. I want to find a single wooden ladder to prop against the wall to hang some on. I saw an "apple tree" ladder, wide at the bottom and narrower at the top which would be nice to have. Most quilts that I make tho, are for someone in mind.

I custom design most of my quilts. I have no idea where they're headed when I create them. Once they're done, they seem to have their own voice and let me know where they're going. Some go to family, some I sell, many go to charity. I love to give my quilts away, but only when I've matched the right recipient to the quilt!

I make mine because I *have* to see how those colors work together or how that block works next to another different block, or how a pattern would look with a pieced border.

Sometimes I make them as gifts or on request, but usually just for the art of it.

I usually have someone in mind and the ones that stay home seem to end up under the cat. lol
