I love scrappy quits - to my great surprise. I have four large totes that need to be cu into the sizes I use - strips, squares, sometimes triangles. Then I put them together with not too much thought - and they turn out just fine. I'll post some pictures and let you see. Most of them are donated.
The scraps from these are then sewn into pet beds that I donate to the local animal rescue. They wash and dry just fine as long as you use small pieces of batt and quilting fabrics - NO BIG CHUNKS!

OM gosh - that is soooo cute - and so creative. I can never come up with ideas like that unless I see it first else where.

This is the 3rd time I am trying to send this and I don't know what keeps happening to it. I just wanted to send you a picture of the book in case you were interested in buying it. Of course you can see my unopened rulers too. Maybe this is what I need to inspire me to open them up. I may start by making some scrappy pot holders which I so desperately need. I used scraps this Christmas to make crazy patch potholders. People really seemed to like get them as gifts! If I had a few minutes I would sew one up while waiting for something in the oven etc. I just kept my basket of scraps right next to my machine to make it readily available. If I have to hunt for things it kills my motivation.

Just got an Accuquilt/Studio and have been having fun cutting hexies. Am sure I will be using the larger dies later on.

I have a collection of Michael Miller mirror dot fabric pieces and another collection of polka-dot fabrics I would like to sell; not for big money but... Do you think anyone would pay me for these scraps?

I have been passing most of my smaller scraps for stuffing made for beds for animals that have been rescued.
