I went into one of our Hancock's today, and thought of this thread!!!
It was actually a better experience than usual, and I made out like a bandit with mucho Xmas fabrics for 75% off...of course there was a long line and only one cashier and no one other than cutters working...

It's sad to hear about such horrible customer service. I have to say my Hancocks has been wonderful to me. Everytime I stop in they ask about my grand daughter and my son because they are with me often when I shop there. They always great me with a smile and hi and help in any way they can. I guess I'm just lucky to have a great group of employees there.

Connecting Threads has a customer service like no other. E-mail question about my order was answered within a day, order arrived very quick, fabric nice, but the customer service is the main reason why I will order from them again.Yes, some businesses do place a high value on making their customers happy.
