make 2 different quilts or see if just quilting a big X in each block would work?

Your blocks are gorgeous, it's going to be a stunning quilt. I might suggest using an "X" going through the block corner to corner - top left to bottom right, top right to bottom left. It appears they might line up that way, or you could do an "X" through the block as above only making a sweeping wave line. That's all I can come up with, other than making 2 different quitls. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

I thought the X across each block would work, also.

This is what I would suggest as well.

What about just doing a grid?

I also liked someone else's idea of squares - You wouldn't have to make each square exactly the same, make some one size and some another size?

It is pretty and I bet, no matter what you do with it the quilt will be beautiful.

Meander or an all over design. Very pretty block front and back.

What about using a hanging diamonds design on the quilt?

You could try quilting hearts, stars or some other simple shape in the centre of each block, then, if your seams don't match up exactly, no-one will ever know. Your blocks look great! Good luck with it.

I just made the same mistake last week. Ended up just doing a meandering pattern all over.

Just think of this as a learning tool-that is what I used to hear while in school. It will be beautiful no matter what you decide.
