You could always quilt a cover for it!

I am using a big executive chair with arms. A neighbor ordered it for his office and he never got around to removing the protective batting that it was wrapped in. After a summer in a hot garage the batting fused to the chair! My husband helped me as we scraped off most of it, but there are some stubborn spots, so I'll have to follow my own advice and quilt a cover for it.

I use a office chair that I bought at a garage sale for $10. It adjusts up and down but it doesn't stay up. My husband fixed it so it stays in the up position and won't move. I love it.

I love my computer chair so I can adjust it up and down depending on the project I am working on.

Right now I use an old wooden chair that came from a school. It was the teachers chair.

I have several office chairs with arms and without. I do prefer the ones without. Now if my GKs wouldn't break the backs with their leaning while on the computer. I have cheap ones and 2 that my neighbor gave me when they got new chairs in his office. I need to get a GOOD one but hate to spend the bucks for it. I also hate shopping.

I bought a "tractor seat" rolling chair from Office Supply. Fits my round bottom fine, rolls, and I can adjust the height.

I have a mid-priced computer chair that has lots of padding where needed. The arms of the chair don't bother me. I find it an added help.
You need to shop around and try out different chairs. A while back I thought I saw an ad for a sewing chair but it could have just been a computer chair. You will know when you find it.
