What is one of the handiest little tools you have in your sewing room?

My older machine had no needle threading function, so I improvised. I took a dot of velcro and stuck the prickly side to the machine housing, and the other (soft) piece of velcro was stuck to a needle threader. Never had to hunt for it again, and if the threader breaks, I just peel and re-stick to a new one. BTW I just love my new machine with the push button needle threader!

My DH will tell you, when I didn't have the TV in the room yet, I wouldn't stay in there for 30 minutes before getting up, now that the TV is in there I only came out for breaks on Saturday a few times and was in there sewing/quilting for more than 10 hours!!

Mine is my Bendable Bright Light! Oh my, what a blessing it is to be able to see better. I have two Ott lights, the machine light, but this little LED light is better than them all put together. I searched online until I found it for a good price at Quilting-Warehouse.com for $27.95. LOVE it!

I have asked for another one to mount behind my cutting table.
