A friend of mine who has just started quilting has asked her daughters for some fabrics, so that she can make a memory quilt.

I always ask Santa for a fairly large gift card for Threads of Time quilt shop and retreat center in Danville, Il. because if I spend $175 between Christmas and New Years Day I get double reward points for and ENTIRE YEAR!!!! That's like getting $2 back in credit for every $10 spent. So..... I purchase a Times of Our Lives retreat pass for $350. That will give me my double points and all my retreat nights are prepaid for the year. Since I retreat for up to 8 days a month that's another super savings. My DH loves it because he can call them and they will send the gift card in the mail---no weather, no crowds, no hassle. YEA!!! My favorite gift!!!

A quilt cruise, preferably in the meditteranean, but anywhere would be nice with DH Santa as my companion

Well, of course a long arm and lessons to go with it, but since Santa and Mrs. Santa are on fixed incomes I'd be really happy with a June Tailor Shape Cut Plus and one of those 8" Gingher spring-open scissors. (I'm hoping that DS will come up with the scissors) (?)

My DH Santa is already enclosing our back porch for a sewing room, has bought me a new sewing table, and a walking foot. He has been so generous, and I am so happy about these things, I would never ask for another thing! Bless his sweet heart!
