My dad finished my new sewing cabinets for my room so I was up until 11:30 last night puttering. Just got a new laptop for home use (HP Compag - $300 at Walmart!!!!!) so I am using that (can you tell???)and set it up with my printer. Now I get to play all day in my room (after cooking, cleaning, laundry.....sigh)so working on my DD's eyewatering quilt and my lovely hexagonal blocks!

I have a Prayer Shawl I want to work on today. Made the top a few months ago and decided yesterday I need to get it done.

I have 6 cupcake appliques glue basted yesterday waiting to be stiched on. 5 are for DGD for a birthday tablerunner and a "spare" cupcake for a mug rug.

If I can tear myself away from the board, I'm going to go downstairs and clean the floor that's all nasty from spraying starch, but I learned about the dunk and dry method of starching and I'll hopefully never have to wipe up a starchy floor again!

Then I'm going back to practicing quilting on my new Horizon. :) Might try putting together a couple of the Civil War blocks I'm behind on, too.

Hope everyone has a nice day.
