I like to give gifts of food so I made a pile of potholders. I hope to get the sewing done soon so I can start baking.
There will be hot cocoa pattern w liquer for the young couples and cooky designs with vanilla beans and sprinkles for my baking buddies. I also made Chanukah potholders for my friends who will be making latkes. I love a holiday with a menu! And potholders are fun.

Let's see... The sewing things are a Sweatshirt jacket, and Pj's. The non sewing things are binded photo books, glass overlayed ornaments and some with glitter inside with etching on the outside, Pop bottles filled with goodies, and a vinyl logo.

I'm spending my sewing time helping my dgs make presents for their family. The hardest part is finding appropriate projects for their skill levels.

Pockets to go, an Atkinson Design. Great little totes. I have made one for my granddaughter and one for me, which holds all my medications... These would be great little totes to keep on hand when you have to pull out an unexpected gift.

I think I've bitten off more than I can chew. My intentions are to make 5 queen-sized quilts and at least 13 lap-sized quilts.

    The status:

    Queen-sized:
    2 - finished - just need labels
2 - are quilted, awaiting binding and labels
1 - is still in the piecing process, may be able to finish the top this week

    Lap-sized:
1 - quilted, awaiting binding and label
    4 - awaiting quilting
8 - The pieces are cut out, but that's it. On the good side, they're all "Warm Wishes", so they should go together quickly.

On top of all that, I want to make myself some holiday things for the kitchen that we're remodeling. Placemats, potholders, towel hangers, etc. I do have the curtains made and the placemats pieced!

Bad thing is, it's only like 49 days until Christmas ...

Hi Kitsie! I've never seen a snap bag. They're cute! Could you post a tutuorial on how to make them, or tell me where to go to find directions? Thanks!
