    Yellow Brick Road for FQs,
Log Cabin for precut strips, and
Broken Dishes for precut squares (3"x3" through 6"x6").

I have a passion for 9 patch blocks. They can be used in so many ways and can be adapted or changed by using 1/2 square triangles or 1/4 square triangles.

I have so many that I want to make and can't say any one of them is a favorite. Just pretty quilts that I want to make. I especially liked working the Tossed Nine Patch in my avatar and I enjoy making Yellow Brick Road.

Too many favorites for me, .......any thing that goes scrappy and uses up what I have in hand, is fine with me.

Yes, the D9P is absolutely my favorite because of how versatile and fast it is. It changes looks with the placement of the blocks, and the value of the fabrics within the block.

I like many of the traditional patterns -- can't really pick one favorite

I am a beginning quilter but I love the look of the dresden plate - that would be my favorite. I was told by someone who has quilted for years that it was a "hard" pattern to do so haven't tried it yet. I do have a pattern for a wall hanging with dresden plates in the shape of hearts.
