There are three or four nice shops in the reno, nevada area. My favorite is the Windy Moon on pyramid way in sparks. (reno and sparks are twin cities that mesh together.) And the other one is Going Batty on the south side of reno off virginia street. Both are in the phone book and you can call for directions. The going batty one is slightly hard to find the first time because it is in the back of a office complex.

I wish I could visit the Missouri Star in Hamilton, Mo. That seems like one fun place for a quilter to visit.

It's winter, come to Florida. There are lots of shops up and down the east coast. Melbourne (just south of the Kennedy Space Center) has 6 quilts shops within 30 minutes of each other. Quilt Place and Fabric, Fabric, Fabric in Rockledge. Sewing Gallery Quilting Folks and Quilts and Lace in Melbourne. Boutique for Quilters in West Melbourne. Sew Central in Merritt Island. Quilters here are blessed.

the Nelsonville Quilt shop in Nelsonville Ohio is a wonderful shop and very close to the beautiful Hocking Hills. Columbus has a few quilt shops. Dabble and Stitch has been open a few years, a small and friendly shop not far from Union Cemetery and the Ohio history Museum, also near Columbus SE side is Slate Run Farm, which is a working 1850 historical farm. There are 2 quilt shops near the NW side of Franklin County (Columbus and Dublin). Both nice size and Quilt Beginnings(Sawmill and 161) is my favorite between the two there the other is Red Rooster-just a little west in Dublin.

My favorite is http://auntmarysquiltshop.com/ - it is in Smokey Point (now Arlington) Washington. I also like Gathering Fabrics in Woodinville -- in fact Western Washington has many, many wonderful quilt shops - each with its own personality.

Here is a site that is will give you a list of the amazing quilt shops that are part of the Western Washington Quilt Shop hop though it looks like you won't be able to see the shops until after June 1 : http://www.washingtonquiltshophop.com/

If you should be traveling in the West Texas area, the only two near me in W. Tx. is one in Midland Texas "Patches and Scraps" It is on Illinois Street just across from the hospital west about 2 blocks which is in downtown take an exit that shows the hospital exit and you can find it. I'm always coming in from the other side of town, so I am not familiar with the exits on that side of town. Then the other is 20 miles away in Odessa Tx.in a shopping center off of Grandview and University "Betty's Bobbin" both small cities each at 100,000 population are easy access off of I
