I have some fabric yardage from my mom who used to work in Grants Department store in the 50's. Still has the Grants tags on it. Back when you could get 4 and 5 yard pieces for $1.15 total. There are some fabrics I have prior to that. I find really interesting the ones with tags still on them sayingthings like, "Dacron - the new wonder fabric for your family!"
I also have some lace that suposedly my 3rd great grandmother made - early 1800's or so. I have no way of proving that, yes, the lace is obviously hand made... and old. But that's all I know. Once I find the perfect Grandmother type wall quilt to make, the lace will adorn that. Eventually... lol.

I have some we found in my grandmother's attic 30 years ago and some of it is pieced by hand by her mother, so probably early to mid 1800's.
